In the News- check it out!

Check out this article. Funds may be cut from three major change initiatives- Race to the Top, Teacher Incentive Fund, and Public Charter Schools. What do you think?

  2. This is so frustrating indeed! Why start an initiative and not give it the time, support, and financial backing to be sustained? So many initiatives, so little money!

  3. I read the article and did a little research, it seems that there are other political lobbyist issues that coming into play with this. I undestand your concern over the issue, but with out support from his home state where he was elected, you gonna have to find a different road for change. It's not un-common for politicians to promise the world, then break the promises they made to the public that elected them. The only way to affect change is not not vote for such a person. But only those is Wisconsin can change the cote on this guy.

So what other avenues would you consider looking into?
There are always options, just sometimes you have to look for them.

  4. I know that this is an all too familiar experience with politics, but it is still frustrating. Unfortunatley, politicians don't generally spell out this type of agenda around election time or else I am sure they wouldn't get elected in the first place. There are probably other avenues such as federal grants or mandates, but that takes time and more money. It is infuriating to waste money on a new project/initiative and never follow-through the time stated. It feels like that money should be set-aside or saved in a separate account when new politicians take office. Just a thought. What "avenues" do you suggest?
